With over 17 years of experience within the lighting industry, founder Tamara Fitzherbert brings a wealth of knowledge, creativity and a personal touch to every project. She passionately believes that lighting shouldn’t just illuminate a space, it should enhance how you live within it.
It was during her year studying Interior Design at KLC School of Design that she discovered what a powerful tool lighting could be. Seeing it as the ultimate medium to give life and energy to beautifully designed spaces, she went on to work at two renowned lighting design studios: John Cullen Lighting and Light House Designs. This equipped her with the expertise to design lighting schemes for an incredibly diverse portfolio—ranging from contemporary city townhouses and expansive country estates to listed buildings, hotels, offices, spas, small rooftop terraces and large landscaped gardens.
In a rapidly evolving industry, Tamara balances artistic intuition with technical expertise. A crucial part of the design process involves navigating ever-changing LED technology, ensuring colour consistency, optimal output, and longevity on every project.
Committed to ensuring designs are both beautiful and responsible, Tamara specifies energy-efficient LEDs and collaborates with trusted suppliers who design high-quality repairable or recyclable fittings. This thoughtful approach ensures the latest technology is utilised to minimise project waste and maximise long-term value for the client.
Having developed long-standing relationships with clients, interior and garden designers, architects, and developers, Tamara tailors every lighting scheme to the client's brief, the interior design vision, and the budget.
From the first site meeting to the final evening of commissioning, she provides a dedicated partnership with the design and construction teams to deliver a beautiful lighting scheme for every project.
